Single Thread works to forge provocative and innovative theatre using a myriad of non-traditional spaces and underscoring coupled with a strong dedication to educational outreach programs. Immediately upon launching its inaugural season, Single Thread set a precedent for pursuing challenging and psychological works that explore the deep and intricate facets of the human condition and bare them without apology.

Liam Karry

Lindsey Higgs

Founding Member

Originally from New Brunswick, Lindsey is a founding member of Single Thread and a graduate of Queen's University. In addition to coordinating publicity and sponsorship for several Single Thread productions, she has appeared onstage in a variety of roles in Ontario and New Brunswick. An avid traveller, Lindsey has worked with drama groups in the South Pacific and East Africa to use theatre and music as a means of achieving development goals through youth engagement.

Jonathan Langley

A founding member of Single Thread Theatre Company, Jonathan is an Honours graduated of Queen’s University with a degree in Drama and Classical studies where he was awarded the Edyth Zacks Millman award for Artistic Merit and Academic Excellence. He currently resides in Toronto where he is training to become a Martial Arts Instructor and Fight Director.

Alex Dault

Alex is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School and Queens University. For Singlethread: A Dream Play, Everyman, Henry V, Fen, Othello. Alex is fascinated with the implementation of environmental theatre. His theory concerning a so-called ‘Theatre of the Inescapable’ won the Clarkson Essay Prize in 2007. He is also the recipient of the 2010 GBC Seniors Bursary and the 2009 Second City Encouragement Award. Alex currently resides in Toronto.
