Single Thread’s Artistic Director, Liam Karry, and Head of Education, Aimee Bouchard ran a half-day workshop for teacher candidates at Queen’s University.

They explored site-specific staging and how to get the audience out of their seats and into the world of a production. The workshop also introduced participants to immersive, found space and site-specific staging, using unconventional spaces for performance, and some tactics, rules and ethics around audience agency in immersive performance.

The workshop culminated with participants creating their own immersive and site-specific experiences.
